Meeting Notes - 16 September 2014

“Meet and Eat” - Since the Airport Greenery has been providing us free use of the restaurant on Tuesday afternoons for close to three years now, it would be fitting if we patronized the place by buying food and/or drink while we are there. Eric suggested that for those who do not wish to partake of anything that they have on the menu, make a small donation either to the wait staff or in the tip box at the check-in desk in the lobby.

Mile Stones
This year’s meeting of the Chiang Mai BarCamp will be held on October 18th at CMU. It will be a full day affair and all the details have yet to be posted, but registration is now open. Chris will touch on what BarCamp is all about in the coming weeks, but in the meantime here’s some general information from there web site.

Apple September Announcements
We talked about the new, bigger iPhones and a new wearable called the Apple Watch. You can see them for yourself as well as watch the keynote at which there were presented at the Apple web site.

That’s pretty much a wrap. I will be traveling until November and so there won’t be an meeting notes until I return. See you again at the November 4th meeting. Also, Stefan will be joining us in November with his latest "Big Bag O' Tech". He has asked that if there are any topics you would like him to cover that you post them here.
