Here's our tech buddy, David Pogue, with his video explaining the merits and demerits of Apple Pay. I understand that this will even work in Thailand if you can meet three criteria. One, you have to have an iPhone 6. Two you have to have a US based credit card. Three, the merchant has to have the NFC reader. I'll update this post once I score myself a iPhone 6.
