Windows XP Diehard: There's Still Hope
Some people move on, others don't. Some people want the latest thing, others are comfortable where they are. Some people like change, others don't. If you are an XP diehard and you want to continue getting system updates, if you're up to a little brain surgery, this might be just what you're looking for.
Let me suggest, as I always have, that if you are going to make any changes to the Windows registry, that you back it up, indeed back your entire system up, I'm talking clone here, before you venture on. Having done that, you should be ready.

This is not to say that Microsoft won't come along and issue some kind of update that intensionally breaks this hack, but what have you got to loose? You can always upgrade to Window 8 .
