Yahoo Want You to Forget Your Password

Though this is generally a good idea and it adds security, it certainly is a trade-off between security and convenience. This means two extra steps each time you want to log into Yahoo. For now a good password manager is still the way to go. Steve Gibson is working on a routine that will do away with passwords altogether, is convenient and is virtually bullet-proof. It's call SQRL. Once it becomes available sometime this year we will demo it.
