How Long Would it Take for a Hacker to Guess Your Password?

This is a good endorsement for using a long password, but it's even a better inducement to use a password manager such as Last Pass or 1Password where one can employ a number of different factors. The one thing it doesn't address is whether the device to be hacked has some kind of limit checking mechanism that would shut down any further attempts, say beyond 10, when the correct password has not been entered. I understand that there are even ways to get around these limiting measures by companies such as GreyShift and Cellebrite, but these are expensive and used mostly by law enforcement and state actors.
