Is It Time to Upgrade to El Capitan?
I've been leery about jumping in early to update on the two last releases of Mac OS X, Yosemite and El Capitan. It was a full 9 months before I upgraded to Yosemite because of constant reports of WiFi issues. When you have a laptop (MacBook Air) that depends entirely on a WiFi connection, and there are persistent reports of WiFi issues, best to back off. It wasn't until these WiFi issues were resolved that I upgraded.
The latest OS X upgrade, El Capitan, was released sometime in October, but I did not desire to be one of the early adopters (guinea pigs). That's what it's like on the bleeding edge. After reading the article at the link below, I will add the upgrade to my tech projects and will do the upgrade early in the new year.
